Why Dubai carpet buyers come to Sharjah
Sharjah's Central Souq (also called the Blue Souk) hosts the largest concentration of authentic Persian carpet merchants in the UAE. The Al Malakia family has direct relationships with master weavers in Qum, Tabriz, Isfahan, Kashan, and Nain since 2008. No middlemen, no retail mark-up, no Dubai prices. Our pieces range from rare silk carpets at 900 knots per square inch to fine wool tribal rugs. Every carpet can be inspected in person, traced to its weaver, and negotiated calmly.
Three reasons Dubai customers prefer Sharjah
30–50% better prices
Dubai showrooms pay premium rents and add big retail markups. We operate directly from the Central Souq, so the savings come straight to you.
Wider selection
Over 500 pieces on-site — from Qum silk and Tabriz wool-on-silk to Isfahan, Nain, Kashan, plus a deep bench of Afghan and handmade tribal rugs.
Direct weaver relationships
Every carpet we sell can be traced to its weaver. We meet these families in person on our annual sourcing trips to Iran.

Common questions from Dubai customers
Is the transfer really free?
Yes. No fee, no deposit, no minimum purchase required. The service pays for itself because customers see our actual collection in person, and most visitors find a piece they love.
How long is the drive from Dubai to Sharjah?
Between 20 and 35 minutes depending on your Dubai location and time of day. Rush-hour windows (8–10am, 5–7pm) can add 10–15 minutes.
Do I have to buy something?
No. Many visitors come just to browse. The transfer remains free whether you purchase or not.
Can I negotiate prices?
Absolutely — that is part of the Persian carpet buying tradition. Our displayed prices are a starting point for conversation.
What if I don't know what to look for?
That's normal. A member of our family will take time to walk you through the different types, show you the workmanship on the reverse side, and help you find something that suits your home.
Do you deliver in Dubai after purchase?
Yes. Free delivery is included anywhere in Dubai and across the UAE after purchase.
Do you have carpets at reasonable prices, not just museum pieces?
Yes. Prices start at around AED 1,500 for small tribal wool pieces and reach into the hundreds of thousands for large Persian silk carpets. There is something for every budget.
